The British Phantom Aviation Group are pleased to announce that XV490 will be appearing at Cockpit Fest 2019, which takes place at Newark Air Museum on the weekend of 22nd & 23rd June.

Now in its 20th year, this two day charitable event provides a focal point for cockpit owners from across the UK. Over 20 cockpits and cockpit rigs will be on display over the weekend along with numerous other aircraft panel and other guest displays and flypasts by the BBMF on both days.

The owner of XV490, Mike Davey, will be in attendance as will a team from the BPAG. Cockpit tours will be available and exclusive Phantom merchandise will be on sale.

See the Newark Air Museum website for more details.

Its a busy time for Phantom repaints. Bentwaters Cold War Museum have announced that XV401 is ready to enter their restortion hangar. The aircraft will be repainted in 74 Squadron colours and will be returned to display soon.

The BPAG would like to send our best wishes to the restoration team at BCWM and we are very much looking forward to seeing the results.

They can be ordered directly from the British Phantom Aviation Group webstore. The direct link is here- http://www.phantomerchandise.co.uk/coins/xv582-50th-anniversary-coin-patch-set

These sets are exclusive to the BPAG and there are only 111 individual units available. Cost is £25 each plus P&P. All profits made will go to support the BPAG and our future projects.

Congratulations to our friends at Solway Aviation Museum who have recently completed a repaint of their Phantom FGR.2 XV406.

The aircraft has been finished in the colours and markings it wore during its time with 111 Squadron and without doubt looks absolutely breathtaking. Well done to Steve, Mark and all the rest of the SAM refurbishment team.
